This is one of my kids favorite recipes. But it is not just for kids! This is like dessert in a cup that is completely healthy. It’s free of refined sugar, dairy, and extra work. I hope you try this and see how EASY it is to make cashew milk at home.

Date-sweetened cashew milk
1/4 cup raw cashews soaked for at least 3 hours
3 cups water
dash of cinnamon and nutmeg (optional)
I put all of these ingredients in a bowl and let it sit for 3 hours.
Once all the ingredients have been soaked, I put them all in my Vitamix and blend it! Cashew milk is so easy because you don’t have to strain it or anything. I keep it in the fridge in a milk jug and the kids drink it up! My son drinks more than half by himself in less than two days. We don’t keep juice in the house, so something other than water is a real treat.
